Consultation: $175+ tax

Our teleconsultation is a one-on-one, hour-long conversation with an experienced veterinarian who specializes in hospice and palliative care.

Conducted via a secure video platform, this appointment allows us to:

Review your pet’s current condition and behaviours
Discuss pain, appetite, hydration, mobility, and quality of life
Understand your family’s values, preferences, and resources

Explore all appropriate care options, including hospice, palliative care, or euthanasia
Answer your questions with sensitivity and clarity

What Happens After the Teleconsult?

Following the teleconsult, families typically pursue one of two next steps:

Palliative or Hospice Care Plan

If you choose to support your pet through a palliative care path, we will schedule an in-home consultation (at a prorated rate) to perform a physical examination. This allows us to create a more detailed, individualized care plan.

In-Home Euthanasia

If, after discussion, your family feels that the time has come, we can arrange for a mobile pet euthanasia appointment to ensure your pet’s passing is peaceful and dignified, in their familiar surroundings.
